Is a box required on a class 2 low volt splice?
No, a box is not required but is recommended.
Roto-Split

Looking for some type of tool similar to the Roto-Split . The tool ideally would be automatic and not have to be hand cranked. Where can I get one of these?
We are not aware of an automatic tool other than the manual Roto-Split for cutting armored cable.
